FEATURE : RAPID TRANSIT

You might remember the recent short documentary called UNDERCITY (if not watch it now), about Steve Duncan’s adventures in New-York’s subway. This week I had the chance to go on a similar trip of my own with Montreal’s STM. I wandered around Montreal’s subway tunnels all night long to visit the different installations. The engineering and logistic behind the construction of such infrastructures is quite amazing. I have to admit that this was pretty rad, the last guy to get a visit of the tunnels was the Prime Minister. Due to anti-terrorism measures, the STM doesn’t allow people down there anymore.

Our friend Paul contacted us a week ago to film a little video for his upcoming book.

This is his 4th book entitled : Photographs inspired by the rap music that once inspired me.

This is my first collaborative video done with my friend Vincent Tsang. Great behind the lens.My role was to assist him on the shoot.

It was shot in less then 3 hours and edited in one night.

The book is available on the Sometimes/Desfois shop.
