I posted some pics earlier last week about the Ringleaders vs the Ultras de Montreal match. I did a little film footage for Angelo from the Ringleaders to announce their upcoming season. Im really happy with the end result. I still am getting used to shoot video with a dSLR camera. Music is by Portishead and the track is called “Roads”. I found that it worked best with the slowed down footage.
Thursday night, at the Saputo stadium, was the first leg of the quarter finals match between the Montreal Impacts vs the Charleston Battery. Our players held it tight for them and managed to score a very nice goal in the first half, scored by David Testo at the 10th min. The battery was a player down due to a red card. The 2nd half was a bit more tough for the Impacts but Rocco Placentino came in late at the end of the game and scored a superb goal from the left hitting the top post and in. The Ultras was present supporting our team and they were also loud. A little bit of push and shove between them and security but its all good. We need to win the 2nd match and head to semi-final.
Went by the Redbull Megahurtz for 20mins, I wanted to see Nosaj Thing’s visual but he was at the end of the night. Got fed up ditched the place and rode my bike around the city instead.
Last night I went to this alley way right by the shop to take a few shots for the photoshoot that me and my crew (Les Enfants Terribles) are working on. More info on it later this week.
Im still learning the camera I got and trying out different things with it. I decided to hit up the port with my girl and taking some more touristy shots.
I was invited to do a small cameo in a show that the 123Klan crew is working on. They still dont want to tell us what the show is about, but will find out soon. It was me, East and 2 puppets, chinese food, bubble tea, and Chinatown.
This is the final result of the photoshoot in the alley way. Me and my crew Les Enfants Terribles are doing it big this Halloween. We are working with local indie horror fest SPASM for the closing party. This photo was shot on a rainy sunday night. Photo by Mathieu Fortin aka Le Pistolet. We did this photo and flyer all in one night since the deadline was the next morning. Main concept and look was very gang and the Warriors inspired. The used of easy grab weapons helped the photo alot. Wrenches, Nunchuks, Baseball bat, Crowbar, Slingshot, etc… Thank you to all the crew for making this happen. Special thanks to Mathieu and Rémi.
Been busy getting this goddamn Halloween party…exhausted, so is the crew…Sorry for not posting as much…Last week we been getting our costume ready wasted 2 nights, but it was all worth it. STRIKE FIRST,STRIKE HARD,SHOW NO MERCY…
Recap of last Saturday at Halloween…A bunch of Cobra Kais, A douche bag crew and a thief…Overall amazing show. Lots of peeps showed up, just the dude at the door was a total asshole, blocking entrance to a shitload of people, that paid and had their tickets.Fucking idiot!
I attended the Jay-Z show at the Bell Centre last friday…I’ve never seen Jay-Z live before and I think it has been a very long time since the last time he came to Montreal. I had goosebumps all night long as he performed his classics and some pieces of the Blueprint 3. Seeing his gestures and the way he maneuvered himself across the stage was incredible. His raps and flows was insane to hear live…He even brought Memphis Bleek as his hypeman. Started the show with a countdown. He rised up the floor over the beat of Run This Town…The place was packed with roaring fans with the ROC sign in the air. Chants of HOVA…From Lucifer,99 problems, Hard Knocklife,Big Pimpin, etc…He ended the show with a good medley of tracks and thank yous to the crowd.(J Cole, Wale and N.E.R.D was the openings acts)
